Today at Fespa, MTex has announced the launch of three new digital direct to textile printers that are high speed, high tech and manufactured entirely at their state of the art manufacturing facilities in Europe to the highest of Industry 4.0 standards. And with knock out ink prices that the company says cannot be beaten.
The three printers include:

MTex Scorpion 1.9 metre wide printer with the option of roll to roll or adhesive belt for stretched or knitted fabrics. Available with either 16 or 32 heads and four or eight colours.
This is aimed mostly at the high end fashion markets and is available with acid/ pigment or reactive ink dyes with speeds of up to 550 square metres per hour.
MTex Eagle 3.2 metre wide printer with the option of roll to roll or adhesive belt for stretched or knitted fabrics. It is predominantly aimed at the display graphics and home textiles markets for disperse (dye sub) or pigment inks with speeds of up to 543 square metres per hour.
All three printers have variable drop size pro heads from three to 24 picolitre, linear motor for fast and accurate print and up to 1440 dpi.
Each one is modular – in the true spirit of Industry 4.0, each of the printers can be upgraded or configured to match your business requirements and the printhead configuration can be added to as your need for speed and production capacity grows.

Eloi Ferriera, CEO of MTex, explains the concept: ‘We are truly at the next wave of digital textile technology innovation. At MTex we have invested millions in manufacturing and research and development facilities so we now manufacture everything in house from the humble nut and bolt to the complete machines you see here today. We have invested in steel cutting, steel machining, CNC routing, Robotic painting, production control, quality control, hardware assembly, equipment testing and more. Now we have total control over the design, production, manufacturing and testing processes, enabling us to develop cutting edge products that, once again, set the standards of the digital textile print industry. We are delighted to announce these products at Fespa this year and welcome customers new and old to visit our booth in hall B6 and find out for themselves just how cost effective these new machines are with our unbeatable ink prices.’
