Polar’s new training centre has gone into operation.

It accommodates up to 24 trainees who receive instruction in two different trades. Training young people has always been a very important area of focus for Polar.

As a mechanical engineering company, it places great emphasis on training in industrial professions. For this reason the industrial trainees have their own workshop, where two instructors focus on the professional qualification.

The company’s existing training facilities were modified to comply with new standards and to suit the needs of the young trainees. After the rooms were renovated and refurbished and investment was made in additional equipment, the modern training centre was recently inaugurated.

Polar offers traineeships in three recognised professions: industrial management assistant, industrial mechanic and mechatronics engineer. The three and a half year traineeships are a combination of practical work and theoretical training at vocational schools. This ensures that professional and theoretical knowledge is given equal weight.
