Customer communications solutions company Imprimus has announced a partnership with Ricoh.

Imprimus carried out a competitive printing tender to replace its existing cut sheet colour printing fleet that would deliver high quality at speed. This resulted in the replacement of its existing devices with Ricoh’s Pro C9110s.

The Imprimus team uses the printers to produce insurance, wealth management booklets, financial, retail and marketing, invoices and statements, short run print on-demand leaflets and brochures and hybrid mail.

Tony Plummer, managing director at Imprimus, commented: ‘Aside from the impressive colour quality and the improved machine throughput of up to 50% that the Ricoh C9110s offer to our business, the commercial benefits of this partnership are also strong. We are already enjoying a healthy return on investment on our substantial six figure investment on these machines.

‘What made Ricoh stand apart from the competition was the ease of use of the technology. Following the install, it enabled us to have several operators trained in a couple of days. Live work was also produced on day two of the installation. We are very pleased with the Ricoh service team who support us in Cornwall, the expertise and proactive attitude to maintenance is very much in line with our own best practice maintenance culture.’
