Antalis has partnered with three leading companies – Revolution Digital, Granthams and Agfa – in order to offer a genuine one stop shop offer for everything large format.
This latest move means customers can now have access to the widest range of leading brands and technology products in one place, to ensure every specification is the absolute best option to grow their business. The result is a truly unbiased, holistic consultative approach.
Paul Duffy, hardware and technical specialist at Antalis Visual Communications, commented: ‘It has never been a better time for printers to diversify in the large format arena with a raft of highly lucrative applications such as large scale signs and displays, wallcoverings and car wraps becoming increasingly popular. However, hardware is a serious investment – some of this large format hardware can cost up to half a million pounds – so printers need to rely on the advice and expertise of a partner they can trust.
‘That is why we have developed strong relationships with Revolution Digital, Granthams and Agfa, each business an expert in their field. Antalis is now able to offer customers the assurance of receiving expert, impartial advice and support.’
Together, Antalis and its new hardware partners, are able to offer customers access to innovative hardware solutions. With prices from £4000 to £450,000, this includes printers from Agfa, HP, Mimaki, Roland, and Canon; laminators from Drytac and Vivid; RIPs from Onyx, EFI, SAi and ColorGate; vinyl cutters from Graphtec, Summa, Roland and Mimaki; and colour solutions from X-Rite and Oris.

All of this is backed up with a robust support package. Antalis’ dedicated hardware and technical specialist, Paul Duffy is on hand to visit customers seeking to invest in hardware, providing independent advice to find them tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements. This invaluable support includes everything from guiding them through the process of investing in new equipment, identifying the different applications their existing machinery may be capable of producing and looking at new or complementary hardware to sit alongside existing kit.
But the Antalis’ proposition doesn’t end there. For customers who want to learn more about new applications to diversify and develop their skill set, the company also offers its Digital Academy. Boasting a diverse range of workshops covering media, application, printer and colour management, this training facility can pay dividends for customers looking to train or upskill their teams.
Paul added, ‘For us, it is about providing a helping hand each step of the way – we don’t just want to help customers when it comes to choosing the right product, we want to ensure they are able to unlock potential, diversify and grow. In this way, our Digital Academy is an invaluable resource for customers, enabling them to try new equipment, methods and materials as well as develop skills and best practice for their operations.
‘We know that diversifying into the large format opportunity can be daunting for traditional printers but by working with Antalis and our expert partners, we can help customers navigate the options available to them, support their decision making process and ultimately help to grow their business.’
