Sawgrass launches updates for Virtuoso Print Manager and CreativeStudio

Sawgrass has released two new updates to its Virtuoso HD Product Decorating System software, both of which are designed to make mass customisation and personalisation of the products easier than ever. Virtuoso Print Manager (VPM) 5.0, the latest update to Sawgrass’ first universal print management software for SG400, SG800 and VJ 628 printers, now offers faster printing, spot colour matching and greater compatibility with desktop graphics programmes.

The new release of CreativeStudio enables users to drive more sales with a Product Mock-Up Maker tool, zoom in on projects, crop photos and more.

‘Both Virtuoso Print Manager and CreativeStudio offer incredible value to all Virtuoso HD Product Decorating System users,’ said Darcy Mauro, president of Sawgrass. ‘As we continue to speak with customers about their needs for efficient production, we will also further develop these programmes to provide increased functionality.’

Virtuoso Print Manager launched earlier this year is an all in one print management solution that works with both CreativeStudio and desktop design programmes, such as CorelDraw and Adobe Creative Cloud. It is also the first print manager to deliver RIP like applications using both Windows and Mac operating systems for SG400 and SG800 users.

CreativeStudio offers a number of new features and functions that were developed based on user feedback. These include a Product Mock-Up Maker tool, which enables users to create mock ups of products for customer approval, upselling and selling on e-commerce platforms, improved zoom functionality, photo cropping capabilities, and disproportional scaling.
