Renz has expanded is portfolio of high performance finishing systems with the super quick Bindomatic Accel Ultra and the Bindomatic Accel Cube thermal cover binding machines.
The Bindomatic Accel Ultra is designed with the high end user in mind. This third generation thermal cover binding machine boasts double the loading capacity and half the binding time compared with its predecessor. This machine allows batch feeding of up to 50 documents in one go, freeing up operator time and delivering fast and efficient production.
The Bindomatic Accel Cube features upgrades over the previous model including increased quality and strength of bound documents as well as improved machine appearance. Like the Ultra, the Cube has also cut the binding time in half compared with its predecessor the Bindomatic 7000.
Both machines feature the new innovative ‘Drop&Go’ Technology enabling binding speeds of up to 60 documents per minute making them at least 30 times faster than other thermal tape binding systems.
These machines with their intuitive simplicity, ease of use and binding speed make them the ideal binding solution for office and corporate walk up print stations, as well as volume demanding central reprographics departments or commercial print environments. They deliver secure, professionally bound documents, without the need of trained operators.
Both machines are A4 portrait format and handle from one to 150 sheets of 80 g/m2 paper in document spine widths of 1.5 to 15 mm. An Accel Ultra Plus model is also available which will handle 150 to 360 sheets of 80 g/m2 paper in document spine widths from 15 to 36 mm.
Iain Bullock, Renz UK managing director, said: ‘Bindomatic has broken new ground with these highly efficient machines that offer the most productive thermal cover binding speed in the industry and ensure greater document strength and quality. Someone can be trained to use these machines proficiently in less than a minute, they really are that simple to use.’

Paul Simpson, Renz sales manager, with the Accel Ultra.
